Engaged Cases
I primarily handle corporate legal affairs with a focus on intellectual property, pharmaceutical and healthcare regulations, and personal information and data protection. During university, I conducted research in quantum physics. Leveraging my scientific background and experience of being seconded to at the Trial and Appeal Department of the Japan Patent Office, I specialize in patent disputes.
In addition, I am engaged in corporate matters such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and shareholder meeting support.

・Dispute resolution matters, (infringement litigation, trials for invalidation, actions for rescission of trial decisions, responses to warnings)

・Review and preparation of agreements (license agreements, joint research agreements, joint application agreements, etc.)
・Development of employee invention policies, trade secret management rules
・M&A (intellectual property due diligence)

・Legal advice on the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act, the Act on the Safety of Regenerative Medicine, the Clinical Research Act, and other ethical guidelines
・Legal advice on AI-based medical devices
・Legal advice on advertising regulations
３ Practice Related to Personal Information and Data
・Legal advice on the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and the Telecommunications Business Act
